I am always getting asked for quick healthy snack ideas- well I am addicted to this!!
-2 scoops of Protein Powder (I have been using LifeTime's Vegan Chocolate Protein because dairy free is better on my stomach)- but you can also use any flavor. I have used banana before and it was soo good!
-3 Tbsp of Liquid Egg Whites
-1 spoonful of Almond Butter
(Note- the consistency may be different with different kinds of protein so you may need to add more egg whites)
I put the two scoops of protein in a bowl, pour in the liquid egg whites, and scoop of almond butter and mix it together. The key is to smash it together so that it gets thick. You may need to add more egg whites, but the best tasting consistency is the least amount of egg whites used. When you start smashing it together, the almond butter helps it set up. When you don't see the powder anymore, it is good to go!
I have also added blueberries too if it is for a pre-workout snack! Enjoy!
